Established in 2003, ARK Estates is a property investment and development company which leases property from its own diverse portfolio which includes retail, commercial, industrial and residential premises in a variety of locations in Scotland.

ARK Estates offers a full development service to clients. We have provided strategic advice and property consultancy services to housing, public sector and corporate clients as well as individuals.

We can help you to identify appropriate and realistic development or regeneration opportunities and can offer a ‘turn-key’ service to turn your vision into a reality.  ARK Estates can provide assistance from strategy, through the initial appraisals, valuations and planning negotiations through to development management onsite.

Clients include both national and local businesses looking for solutions to accommodation problems as well as individuals looking for investment opportunities and ARK Estates has also worked with joint venture partners to develop a site or business opportunity.

Most of our large industrial units for lease are in the Inverness area and are currently let on medium to long term leases to a variety of local, national and international clients such as Scania, Portakabin and Caledonian Logistics. These units have been tailored to suit individual companies e.g. the installation of conveyor systems for TNT Express or the large inspection pits required for lorries at Scania. Industrial property in Inverness is generally located in the Longman Industrial Estate or the Carse Industrial Estate and we have warehouses for lease in both.

We currently lease shop units in Inverness, Invergordon, Dingwall and Edinburgh. If there is a particular client requirement, such as the specification for a café at The Red Pepper in Inverness city centre, we can make alterations to units to suit company needs and budgets. We will have new shop units coming soon in Inverness and Dingwall which will be available for lease.

We occasionally offer short term leases for sites in a transition phase of development.

We also operate in the residentail propert sector and have refurbished properties such as the apartments at Marine House in Rosemarkie for sale and developed land for housing under our own auspices but more commonly, we would be involved in the procurement and development of a site for a third party such as a housing provider.

ARK Estates has worked with social housing providers such as Albyn Housing, Cairn Housing, the Highland Housing Alliance and the Highland Council to deliver projects and is proactive in finding sites for organisations.
